Large Pets Welcome! 

In 2010, we purchased a duplex in St. Pete Beach, FL and decided to rent out one side to travelers with dogs while living on the other side. We envisioned a vacation rental that would allow dogs (of ALL sizes), have a pool and be close to the beach, restaurants, laundry, etc. And so, Mona Kai was established. We would love to have you stay here! 

*Please note, according to the city of St. Pete Beach, we are required to rent no less than 30 days. Please still contact us if you have any questions.

As a couple, we traveled throughout the US with our 120lb. Blue Great Dane (the "Kai" in Mona Kai)
and always had trouble finding just the right place that would:
(A) take a pet/dog and
(B) take a 120lb. dog at that!
​After our battle with that housing situation, we figured there MUST be other people in the same situation.
